About This Community
The state electorate of Maryborough has an approximate area of 4,900 km².
It is comprised of 61 suburbs including Aldershot, Antigua, Aramara, Beaver Rock, Beelbi Creek, Bidwill, Boonooroo, Boonooroo Plains, Brooweena, Burgowan, Burrum Heads, Burrum River, Burrum Town, Calgoa, Craignish, Dundathu, Dundowran, Dundowran Beach, Dunmora, Ferney, Glenorchy, Grahams Creek, Granville, Gungaloon and Howard plus parts of another 5 suburbs.
It is comprised of the localities of Boompa, Cherwell, Doongul, Duckinwilla, Gigoomgan, Glenbar, Malarga, Mount Urah, St Mary and Tuan Forest plus parts of Great Sandy Strait.
It is within the council of Fraser Coast.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Burnett, Callide, Gympie, Hervey Bay and Nanango.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Hinkler and Wide Bay.
