About This Community
The state electorate of Hervey Bay has an approximate area of 2,500 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Booral, Eli Waters, Eurong, Kawungan, Pialba, Point Vernon, River Heads, Scarness, Torquay, Urangan and Wondunna plus parts of Bunya Creek, Nikenbah, Susan River and Urraween.
It is comprised of the localities of Fraser Island and Unnamed Locality plus parts of Great Sandy Strait.
It is within the council of Fraser Coast.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Burnett, Gympie and Maryborough.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Hinkler and Wide Bay.
