parkrun - Carine Glades

Starting on the grass area near to the Okely Road playground, we start by running in towards the Carine swamp which we will run around twice in a clockwise direction, finishing with a short run back out on to the open grass area near the playground. This course is a mixture of gravel and sealed paths with grass at the start and finish, and is mostly flat. Trees around the swamp provide a shade to most of the course. Facilities Toilets and drinking water adjacent to the start / finish point as well as BBQs, a playground and benches.Free parking available in Okely Road carpark with alternative parking available on Monyash Road carpark near the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) complex. Getting There Location of startThe run starts on the grass area near to the Okely Road playground. Getting there by public transportThe nearest train station is Warwick Train Station on the Clarkson line. Warwick Train Station is also the nearest bus terminal.For up to date train and bus schedules, go to the Transperth wesbite. Getting there on footFrom Warwick Train Station, walk south to use the Beach Road bridge across the Mitchell Freeway. Continue walking along Beach Road until you reach Okely Road. Turn left on to Okely Road.This walk takes approximately 15 minutes. Getting there by roadThe best carpark to use is on Okely Road.Take the Reid Highway exit from the Mitchell Freeway and head west, turn right at the traffic lights, on to Okely Road. Before reaching the Beach road intersec-tion, turn right in to the Okely Road carpark for the Carine Regional Open Space reserve.
