Volunteering WA is a non-government, non-profit peak association established to support the volunteer effort in Western Australia. The centre is a major connecting organisation for persons who want to be volunteers, and organisations who utilise the service of volunteers. Services include training,community education, resource and information services, networking.

At FreddyMatch, we drive social change through technology, using our unique algorithm to match people with great opportunities, increasing volunteer participation rates and building stronger communities.

Adult Education

Read Write Now

The Read Write Now program provides one-to-one help for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, maths, study or basic computer skills. Students work with trained volunteer tutors in an informal public space for about an hour and a half each week to achieve their personal and professional goals. The program operates in 18 metropolitan and some regional areas of WA.

Drug & Alcohol Services

24hr Parent and Family Drug Support Line

The Parent and Family Drug Support Line provides confidential counselling, information and referral by professional counsellors as well as support by Parent Peer Volunteers to parents and families in Western Australia who are concerned about a family members' alcohol or other drug use.

Our purpose is to support ability and create access and participation opportunities for people with a disability so they can achieve their life goals. We do this by implementing personal plans for people with a disability, providing in-house support for clients, their families and carers and skills training to promote independent living.

Epilepsy WA

Epilepsy WA was founded in 1963 and provides a wide array of services to support the WA community, including an information and support phone line, a network of support groups, a free seizure alert bed mat loan program for members, epilepsy training, patient/carer seminars, a compassionate ear listening service, a seizure technology display and awareness raising activities.

Give A Feed

We help WA Individuals and Families with Food by packing and supplying Hampers at Christmas, each Hamper feeds a Family of 4, Food relief at a special time of year. We ask people and organisation to donate the Hampers on line at www.giveafeed.com.au for us to pack and donate to those in need via the Foodbank network. We are all Volunteers and all donations are Tax Deductible.

Limbs 4 Life is the peak body for amputees in Australia and was founded as an incorporated charity in 2004. Limbs 4 Life provides services to thousands of amputees and their care givers, who rely on the programs and services for assistance prior to, or after a limb amputation.

The Babes Project works with women who are seeking additional support during pregnancy. We run a National support service providing our Perinatal Support Program via phone and video calls for pregnant and early parenting women across Australia, who cannot access one of the Centres.

The Samaritans provide non-judgemental, emotional support to those experiencing distress and despair including those who may be at risk of suicide.
