About Us
The TAFE Gippsland Yallourn campus’ industrial exterior reflects highly specialised trades training facilities on offer from this location, while the bright re-furbished interior offers a fresh and contemporary environment for classroom based programs.
Practical learning facilities available at the Yallourn campus include fully functional Automotive, Metal Fabrication, Cabinetmaking, Plumbing and Gas-fitting workshops, specialised Electro-technology and Painting and Decorating work environment, simulated Bricklaying and Construction worksites and much more.
The Yallourn Campus is at the heart of TAFE Gippsland’s apprenticeship and traineeship training.
On campus students have access to comprehensive library and book shop facilities, computer lab, canteen and student lounge. The campus is a buzz with activity throughout teaching periods, in the warmer weather students often relax in the many outdoor spaces, adjacent public park or football oval.
