About Us
The Portland parkrun course is an out and back course that involves 2 laps of the beautiful Fawthrop lagoon as well as a short section of the canal. Starting from the Fawthrop Lagoon BBQ area at the end of Hood St, the course heads west in an anticlockwise direction around the Fawthrop Lagoon, following the path. After going over the bridge near the Start/Finish, participants will then turn right and follow the canal in an easterly direction on the north side of the canal.
