parkrun - Cohuna

This is a flat, two-and-a-half lap course.There will be flags, cones, signs and marshals to direct you. Meet at the Cohuna Sound Shell in Garden Park (King George St, Cohuna) for information prior to starting. The start point is nearby at the town end of the Cohuna Bridge. Head along the walking track towards the Cohuna Gateway Information Centre and over the small bridge. Continue straight into Gilrule Park and stay on the track on the left heading past the Cohuna Scout Hall. Once past the Scout Hall take the first right and stay on the track heading towards the giant gum tree. At the tree turn around and head back the way you came until you exit Gilrule Park. Then head left over the Cohuna Weir and stay on the track that is Creekside heading back towards the Cohuna Bridge. Cross the bridge and repeat this lap. The final ‘half-lap’ is the same until you get to the drinking fountain near the Scout Hall. At this point turn right and run towards the creek then turn right and pick up the walking track on Creekside. Head back towards and over the weir and back along the original track towards the bridge. The finish line will be at the Cohuna Sound Shell. Facilities Ample car parking is available at the start point and nearby. Toilets are available at the Cohuna Gateway Information Centre (including family/disabled facilities) and Cohuna Apex Park nearby. Water is available at Cohuna Gateway Information Centre and a bubble tap in Garden Park, Cohuna.
