Iona Cricket Club

Founded by Bob Rogers, Iona Cricket Club began its journey with humble beginnings - starting in a bark hut with no power or water and fielding just one C grade team. Despite these modest origins, our club has achieved significant success, clinching four premiership titles to date. Notably, we have maintained our independence, funding ourselves entirely without any council assistance.

At Iona Cricket Club, our guiding principle is "Developing Cricketers, on and off the field." This motto reflects our commitment to nurturing both the sporting skills and personal growth of our members. In our relatively brief existence, we have already seen three of our members rise to become league presidents, a testament to our club's influence and leadership within our community.

Currently, Iona Cricket Club stands out as one of the most successful clubs in our region, excelling both in sporting achievements and community engagement.
