This activity is a Learn Local activity, with costs subsidised through the Victorian State Government's Adult and Community Further Education (ACFE) program in partnership with the Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre.

Some basic materials and supplies are included, and there are things you will need to bring yourself as follows.
Please bring a basic sewing kit of:
- scissors,
- a reel of any colour Gutermann or Rassant or Metrosene (available at Spotlight or online) thread except black,
- a selection of machine needles suitable for your sewing machine - please check your manual or Google your model to ensure you have the correct needles in sizes 80 to 100 plus a packet of 90 stretch needles,
- your sewing machine manual, and
- the correct bobbins and feet for your machine.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure you can be set up and ready to start the class at 12:30pm.
