Physical features
– The library is located next to Subway and has an external (to Stockland) entry door facing Gillies St
– Automatic door with sensor to enter the building
– Doorways wide enough for wheelchair and scooter access: 32 in (815 mm)
– Variable height customer service counters for sitting and standing
– Library is located on one flat level
– Wide browsing spaces that can accommodate wheelchairs or scooters
– Seating is not fixed and can be moved for greater access
Assistance animals: Assistance animals are welcome, including an assistance dog within the meaning of section 4(1) of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic).
Accessible toilet: Toilets, including accessible toilets and a Changing Places facility are located within the Stockland Shopping Centre.
Parents’ facilities: There is a Parents Room located inside Stockland Shopping Centre.
Library collection: Large print books – There is a collection of books with larger font size to make it easier to read.
Audiobooks – There are collections of “talking books” which are recordings of books which you can listen to. These are available on CD or digitally.
Ebooks – Access digital books anywhere from your own device and adjust text size and more for readability.
Public PCs: There are four public computers available for use. PCs run Windows and include accessibility features.
