About Us

This is a 2 lap course, starting at the BBQ area adjacent to Café Minello houseboat at Sturt Rd, Sturt Reserve. Runners will head North following the Murray River, under the train bridge & the main bridge. Following the pathway they can expect to see beautiful wild life and boats on the Murray River. The runners pass through 2 open gates, and continue to run along the old train line, until they see a parkrun flag at the end of the path. At this point they turn around and return to the starting area. To commence the 2nd lap they turn around a HUGE gum tree and complete a 2nd lap of the same course. Drink bottles can be left at the gum tree for a little refreshment prior to commencing the 2nd lap. Each lap is approximately 2.5km in length. The course offers stunning views of the mighty Murray River, with birdlife, rowers, swimmers and boats offering a lovely vista. Facilities Murray Bridge farmers markets will be located alongside the course and coffee, breakfast and fresh fruit & vegetables will be available for purchase.
