Toowoomba Art Society Inc

In our new building (opened April 2009) we offer children's art classes 4 days per week, classes in general and life drawing, portraiture, including 2 evening classes per week, and social painting groups 4 mornings per week. We also have facilities for printmaking. We organise occasional weekend workshops and Friday evening lectures and exhibition openings. Our gallery, in our main studio, is open to the public Tuesdays to Fridays and shows exhibitions of members' work, individual and group. Our studio facilities are also used by U3A art classes and Cerebral Palsy League members. Flagship events are the annual Members' Exhibition held in Queens Park and the annual Toowoomba Art Society/Chronicle Junior Art Expo in Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery.
