parkrun - Central Lakes

The course starts approx 100m from the Corner of Boyland Street and Joyner Circuit. It is an out and back course that loops around the lake anti-clockwise at the start and clockwise to finish. Start facing West, run in an anti-clockwise direction, following the footpath around the lake and crossing the bridge (adjacent to the start/finish line). Continue along the path towards the East end of the park (towards the highway). Follow the path for 1.5km until the turnaround point. Run around the cone/flag and retrace the same path back to the start/finish line (clockwise direction back over the bridge and around the lake to the start/finish line). Facilities Toilets are located at shopping centre on Pettigrew Street (open 6am). Free parking at Shopping centre or on streets surrounding Central Lakes park. The park contains children’s play areas, covered tables and seating and a dog park (fully fenced). Getting there on footFrom shopping centre on Pettigrew St - turn right, walk 100m towards roundabout, turn left onto Central Lakes Drive and walk to end (500m). Getting there by roadIf using SATNAV, the nearest postcode is 4510, Central Lakes, Caboolture. From Bruce Highway, take exit 152 onto Lower King Street, towards Caboolture. Turn right onto Mewett Street (approx 1km from exit). Continue along Mewett Street, through 2 roundabouts to a third. Take the third exit from the roundabout (turn right) onto Central Lakes Drive. Continue to the end (500m). Parking is available at shopping centre (500m away near roundabout), or along the streets surrounding the park.
