Therapeutic and Family Support Services at Behaviour Boost

At Behaviour Boost, we offer specialised support for children, young people, and families through a range of therapeutic and court-aligned services.

Child and Youth Therapy
Our therapeutic work is grounded in evidence-based modalities including Child-Centred Play Therapy (CCPT), attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and narrative approaches. We create safe, relational spaces where children and adolescents can explore their experiences, build emotional literacy, develop coping strategies, and strengthen their sense of self. Sessions are strengths-based, developmentally appropriate, and responsive to each individual’s needs and family context.

Supervised Child Contact
Our child contact service offers a professional, trauma-informed environment for safe and supported visits between children and their family members, in line with Family Court orders or private agreements. We prioritise the emotional safety of the child while maintaining neutrality and open communication with all parties.

Parenting Programs
We deliver parenting programs suitable for both court-recommended and self-referred families. These programs are practical, evidence-based, and designed to increase confidence, improve parent-child relationships, and reduce conflict. Our facilitators provide a non-judgmental space where parents can reflect, learn new strategies, and grow their parenting capacity.

NDIS Support
Behaviour Boost has extensive experience working alongside NDIS participants and their families, both in a therapeutic capacity and through face-to-face support roles. We understand the complexities of the NDIS framework and tailor our interventions to build capacity, promote emotional wellbeing, and support goal attainment. Our team is committed to providing culturally safe, person-centred services that align with each participant’s plan and needs.
