<p><p>Boomerang Bags is an organisation based on the Gold Coast which engages with community groups, schools and local volunteers to make re-useable bags and&nbsp;bottle holders&nbsp;from recycled materials.&nbsp;Our activities work to&nbsp;provide local,&nbsp;sustainable alternatives to plastic bags, divert landfill waste, raise awareness, foster sustainable behavior and build community connectedness, ultimately creating more sustainable and healthy communities. Volunteers join us as often&nbsp;as they can to learn and be a part of the process while&nbsp;making friends, upskilling and being able to make a difference for the future of this planet.</p></p>
