St Andrews South Brisbane Meals on Wheels

The service was inaugurated in 1964 by the Reverend Ken and Mrs. Sheila Stevens, with the support of the congregation of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. It began by serving five clients for three days a week at a charge of two shillings (20¢) for each meal. The meals were cooked and delivered by members of the congregation.

Caring Cuisine is so much more than just food; it’s about the personalised care we bring to every household we encounter. We don't just drop meals on the floor at the door; our volunteers deliver delicious, chef-prepared meals with a warm smile and a listening ear. We support CHSP, HCP, NDIS and self-funded clients all over Brisbane.
