Kianga Memorial Centre

Moura Kianga Centre is our Town Hall built as a memorial to the men who lost their lives in the Kianga Mine Disaster. The Centre is for hire for Weddings, Conferences, Meetings, Dances, Arts Council, and Ballet Concerts etc.

Thangool Inc.

Thangool Inc works for the advancement and betterment of the Thangool community. Provides an air-cooled venue for hire for public functions with full kitchen and bar facilities. Contact House Director for bookings on 07 4995 8311. Recreation Reserve for sporting activities. Committee meets every 3rd Thursday 8.00pm at the Rec Reserve Building. New members always welcome.

Queensland Heritage Park - Biloela

The Queensland Heritage Park complex celebrates our heritage and the pioneering spirit of our nation. The complex houses historical buildings, vintage machinery displays, historical data and photography depicting the history of the Shire and surrounding areas. The Queensland Heritage Park is also home to the accredited Rural Hinterland Visitor Information Centre and houses a cafe and gift shop.

Committee meets monthly. AGM held in February. Hire out hall. Look after gardens around hall. On behalf of Council do mowing around town. Look after the park - keep it tidy.
