Focus ACT Occupational Therapy

We offer occupational therapy services to people living with disability in the ACT and parts of NSW. As experts in disability, we have experience working with people with a variety of needs and abilities. We work across a wide range of ages, from adolescence through to the elderly. We are happy to speak with you about your circumstances to determine whether we are the right fit for you.

Some of the more common occupational therapy services we provide are:

• Conducting relevant and specific client assessments

• Prescribing individualised equipment needs

• Home modification design and organisation

• Specialised client and carer training

• Prescribing assistive technologies

• Recommending individualised intervention strategies

• Empowering clients through skill modification

All new clients will receive an initial assessment. During this assessment, the occupational therapist will discuss the client’s specific goals and may recommend some of the services listed above. Following the initial assessment, you will receive an assessment summary along with your intervention program that details services and associated pricing, so that you know exactly what you are getting with your funding.
