Anowah Community Living

Supported accommodation for intellectually disabled adults. Anowah provides a day service for intellectually disabled adults Anowah Community Living Inc provides accommodation and support in daily lifestyle choices to 23 intellectually disabled adults. Accommodation choices provided by Anowah are Group Homes both in a suburban and rural setting (4 suburban and 4 rural), and a drop in support service. Anowah Community Living Inc also operates a Community Access Service (CAS) which supports 16 intellectually disabled clients to access the community for activities such as therapy sessions and recreational activities. Anowah is partially funded by government grants. The remainder of the revenue comes from client fees and fundraising activities. Fundraising activities are: Club Grant support to fund capital and maintenance projects during the last financial year. Club Grants have also funded client recreational and professional support programs. Fundraising dinners, stalls and donations also form a major part of our fundraising revenue.
