Dorrigo Plateau U3A

U3A is a volunteer educational group for learning and fellowship. It caters primarily for the "Third Age" of life which is best described as being in active retirement. The U3A aims to provide the stimulus of mental activity and the satisfaction of active participation. It enables new interests to be taken up and old ones to be extended. U3A offers the joy of learning for learning's sake, unrestricted by the requirements of vocation, or the desire for qualifications. It draws principally upon the extensive experience, skills and energies of its own members.
