It is comprised of the suburbs of Kingsville, Newport, Seddon, South Kingsville, Spotswood, Williamstown, Williamstown North and Yarraville plus parts of Altona North and Brooklyn.
It is comprised of parts of the councils of Hobsons Bay City and Maribyrnong City.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Albert Park, Altona, Footscray, Melbourne and Tarneit.
It is within the federal electorate of Gellibrand.
