It is comprised of the suburbs of Braybrook, Footscray, Maidstone, Maribyrnong, Sunshine West, Tottenham and West Footscray plus parts of Brooklyn and Sunshine.
It is comprised of parts of the councils of Brimbank City and Maribyrnong City.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Essendon, Kororoit, Melbourne, Niddrie, St Albans, Tarneit and Williamstown.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Gellibrand and Maribyrnong.
