About This Community
The state electorate of Bendigo East has an approximate area of 2,700 km².
It is comprised of 42 suburbs including Ascot, Auchmore, Avonmore, Axe Creek, Bagshot, Bagshot North, Barnadown, Bears Lagoon, Drummartin, Eaglehawk North, East Bendigo, Emu Creek, Eppalock, Epsom, Flora Hill, Fosterville, Golden Gully, Hunter, Huntly, Huntly North, Jackass Flat, Junortoun, Kamarooka North, Kennington and Longlea plus parts of another 16 suburbs.
It is comprised of the localities of Dingee, Elmore, Goornong, Kamarooka, Raywood and Serpentine.
It is comprised of parts of the councils of Greater Bendigo City and Loddon Shire.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Bendigo West, Euroa, Macedon, Murray Plains and Ripon.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Bendigo and Murray.
