It is comprised of the suburbs of Armstrong Creek, Camp Mountain, Cashmere, Cedar Creek, Clear Mountain, Closeburn, Dayboro, Draper, Highvale, Jollys Lookout, King Scrub, Kobble Creek, Laceys Creek, Mount Glorious, Mount Nebo, Mount Pleasant, Mount Samson, Rush Creek, Samford Valley, Samford Village, Samsonvale, Strathpine, Wights Mountain and Yugar plus parts of 6 suburbs including Bray Park, Brendale, Joyner, Lawnton and Warner.
It is surrounded by the localities of Dundas and Mount Byron.
It is within the council of Moreton Bay.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Aspley, Cooper, Everton, Ferny Grove, Glass House, Kurwongbah, Moggill, Murrumba and Nanango.
It is within the federal electorate of Dickson.
