About This Community
The state electorate of Ipswich West has an approximate area of 360 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Ashwell, Barellan Point, Blacksoil, Brassall, Chuwar, Ironbark, Karalee, Karrabin, Leichhardt, Moores Pocket, Mount Marrow, Muirlea, North Ipswich, North Tivoli, One Mile, Pine Mountain, Tallegalla, Thagoona, The Bluff, Tivoli, Walloon, Woolshed, Wulkuraka and Yamanto plus parts of 7 suburbs including Amberley, Calvert, Grandchester, Haigslea and Lanefield.
It is comprised of parts of the council communities of Division 1, Division 3 and Division 4.
It is within the council of Ipswich.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Bundamba, Ipswich, Lockyer, Moggill and Scenic Rim.
It is within the federal electorate of Blair.
