About This Community
The state electorate of Ipswich has an approximate area of 86 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Basin Pocket, Booval, Churchill, Coalfalls, Deebing Heights, East Ipswich, Eastern Heights, Flinders View, Ipswich, Newtown, North Booval, Raceview, Ripley, Sadliers Crossing, Silkstone, West Ipswich and Woodend plus parts of Bundamba and South Ripley.
It is comprised of parts of the council communities of Division 1 and Division 3.
It is within the council of Ipswich.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Bundamba, Ipswich West, Jordan and Scenic Rim.
It is within the federal electorate of Blair.
