The state electorate of Central Wheatbelt has an approximate area of 62,000 km².

It is comprised of 55 suburbs including Badgin, Badjaling, Bakers Hill, Balkuling, Balladong, Ballidu, Buckland, Burges, Burlong, Caljie, Clackline, Cold Harbour, Copley, Daliak, Dangin, Goomalling, Grass Valley, Greenhills, Gwambygine, Inkpen, Irishtown, Jennacubbine, Jennapullin, Katrine and Kauring.

It is comprised of 143 localities including Adamsvale, Aldersyde, Ardath, Baandee, Babakin, Badgerin Rock, Bally Bally, Barbalin, Beacon, Bencubbin, Benjaberring, Beverley, Bilbarin, Bimbijy, Bonnie Rock, Booralaming, Brookton, Bruce Rock, Bullaring, Bulyee, Burakin, Burracoppin, Burran Rock, Cadoux and Chandler.

It is comprised of the councils of Beverley, Brookton, Bruce Rock, Corrigin, Cunderdin, Dowerin, Goomalling, Kellerberrin, Kondinin, Koorda, Merredin, Mount Marshall, Mukinbudin, Narembeen, Northam, Nungarin, Quairading, Tammin, Trayning, Wongan-ballidu, Wyalkatchem and York.

It is surrounded by the state electorates of Darling Range, Eyre, Kalgoorlie, Moore, North West Central, Swan Hills and Wagin.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Durack, O'connor and Pearce.
