About This Community
The state electorate of Melton has an approximate area of 250 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Bacchus Marsh, Brookfield, Cobblebank, Darley, Exford, Hopetoun Park, Long Forest, Melton, Melton South, Melton West, Merrimu, Strathtulloh and Weir Views plus parts of Eynesbury, Harkness, Kurunjang, Maddingley and Parwan.
It is adjacent to the locality of Lerderderg.
It is comprised of parts of the councils of Melton City and Moorabool Shire.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Buninyong, Kororoit, Macedon, Tarneit and Werribee.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Ballarat and Gorton.
