The state electorate of Croydon has an approximate area of 33 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Croydon, Croydon Hills and Croydon North plus parts of Bayswater North, Croydon South, Kilsyth, Mooroolbark, Ringwood and Ringwood North.
It is comprised of parts of the councils of Maroondah City and Yarra Ranges Shire.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Bayswater, Evelyn, Monbulk, Ringwood and Warrandyte.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Casey, Deakin and Menzies.
