About This Community
The state electorate of Chaffey has an approximate area of 26,000 km².
It is comprised of 43 suburbs including Barmera, Berri, Big Bend, Chaffey, Claypans, Cobdogla, Cooltong, Crescent, Devlins Pound, Gerard, Glossop, Golden Heights, Good Hope Landing, Gurra Gurra, Kingston On Murray, Loveday, Lowbank, Loxton, Loxton North, Lyrup, Marks Landing, Moorook South, Mundic Creek, Naidia and New Residence.
It is comprised of 83 localities including Alawoona, Allen, Allenby, Auld, Bakara, Bakara Well, Bandon, Bews, Billiatt, Bookpurnong, Boolgun, Borrika, Bugle Hut, Caliph, Chesson, Chowilla, Copeville, Cotton, Day, Forster, Galga, Geranium, Gordon, Halidon and Hawks Nest Station plus parts of another 14 localities.
It is comprised of the councils of Karoonda East Murray District, Loxton Waikerie District, Renmark Paringa, Southern Mallee District, The Berri Barmera and Uia Riverland plus parts of Mid Murray and Pastoral.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Hammond, Mackillop, Mildura, Murray, Schubert and Stuart.
It is within the federal electorate of Barker.
