About This Community
The state electorate of Miranda has an approximate area of 39 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Alfords Point, Bonnet Bay, Como, Illawong, Jannali, Kangaroo Point, Kareela, Oyster Bay, Sylvania, Sylvania Waters and Taren Point plus parts of Caringbah, Gymea, Kirrawee, Miranda, Sutherland and Woronora.
It is within the council of Sutherland Shire.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Cronulla, East Hills, Heathcote, Holsworthy, Oatley and Rockdale.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Cook and Hughes.
