The state electorate of Macquarie Fields has an approximate area of 94 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Bardia, Bow Bowing, Denham Court, Edmondson Park, Eschol Park, Glenfield, Ingleburn, Kearns, Long Point, Macquarie Fields, Macquarie Links, Minto, Minto Heights, Raby, St Andrews and Varroville plus parts of Casula, Eagle Vale, Kentlyn, Leppington and Leumeah.
It is adjacent to the locality of Holsworthy.
It is comprised of parts of the councils of Campbelltown and Liverpool.
It is surrounded by the state electorates of Camden, Campbelltown, Holsworthy and Liverpool.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Macarthur and Werriwa.
